Welcome to Deep in the Heart Farms!
Deep In the Heart Farms is a family-owned wedding and event venue, and we pride ourselves in making sure that everyone who walks in our doors feel like a member of our family.
Let's get to know each other!
After growing up in small town Paris, Texas, I always dreamed of moving back to a small town. It took years of convincing my big city husband, but finally Scott gave in. By then we both had started our dental careers in The Woodlands and had begun to raise our three children.
In 2003, when we purchased the farm, we couldn’t wait to be here full time.
In 2008, we started building dental offices in Mexico and Honduras and began fundraising events at the property to help support our mission work. Once I started planning these fundraisers, I fell in love with hosting events.
After 4 years of extensive research and planning, Deep in the Heart Farms was born!
Scott and I feel blessed to be able to run a family owned and operated wedding venue in a town we love with our son managing the venue we have always dreamed of!

Kim & Scott Andersen
Kim and Scott are the owners and operators at Deep In The Heart Farms and personally attend to all of the weddings and events hosted at their venue.
On any given day you can find Kim on her tractor or Scott at the golf course. They love being around their three children and rescue dogs as much as possible! They are thankful to have all three kids close to home. When not at the venue they enjoy traveling or watching their youngest son play high school sports.
Austin Andersen
Austin Andersen is Deep in the Heart Farms’ venue manager. He works hard to make sure all of the behind the scenes details are taken care of. From ordering alcohol, sending contracts, or arranging tables, Austin makes it happen.
After attending college in Alabama, Austin and his wife Morgan have decided to move back to Texas and start their family in Brenham. He has a passion for helping others and strives to make your wedding day as easy as possible!
